Hospice UK Carers’ Survey Deadline Extended

Author: James Higgerson
12 June 2018

The deadline for the national survey of hospices to assess the needs of carers has been extended. James Higgerson, Research Associate at University of Manchester, explains how to take part.

If you are a member of Hospice UK providing services for adult patients, you should have recently received a survey to complete – the Hospice UK Organisational Survey of Carer Assessment and Support

You will be pleased to know we have extended the response deadline from June 8 to Wednesday June 20 as we are very keen to hear from as many hospices as possible. Your data will make a difference! This will be the last day to get your paper copies in the post, or to fill out the survey online.

Thank you to all organisations who have participated so far.  Along with National Carers’ Week, this is a great opportunity to showcase the things you do for carers, whilst helping us build the evidence to strengthen support for carers in the future.  The online survey can be found here.

If you have any questions about completing this survey (including if you need a reminder of your study ID and/or passcode), or to request an additional mailing of the survey, your contact is James Higgerson at the University of Manchester, or telephone 0161 306 7777.

Carers' Week runs till June 17.
