Kate Nash films new music video in hospice

Singer Kate Nash has filmed her latest music video at Michael Sobell Hospice in honour of their 40th anniversary this year.

Nash spent a whole day at the hospice, performing her new single “Call Me” for patients and posing for photos.

The hospice is close to the singer’s heart. Commenting on why, she said:

“I love supporting Michael Sobell Hospice because it has a lot of meaning to me. My mum (Marie Nash) works here, and one of my friends died here. It is a beautiful place where there is so much laughter and light and the nurses and staff enable patients’ spirits and creativity to soar.”

“I loved spending the day with patients and getting to know them recently. There is so much to learn from opening ourselves up to vulnerability and letting go of fear. It is so necessary for us to bring our barriers down so we can care about each other and accept that our health is a part of lives.”

She added:

“We all need someone and I loved being in an environment where that is embraced and the main priority."
