Dr Sarah Russell, Hospice UK’s Head of Research and Clinical Innovation, is co-hosting tonight's launch edition of a new monthly Twitter chat about best practice for nursing in care homes.

The Twitter sessions are part of a new community for nurses created by Four Seasons Health Care (FSHC), which provide care to approximately 16,000 older people across 350 care homes in the UK.  The resource will share news, research and information on best practice. The Twitter sessions will take place on the last Wednesday of each month from 7pm – 8pm.

In tonight’s edition Russell will talk about enhancing palliative care in care homes. Recommended advanced reading is her recent article Care Home Ambitions for Palliative Care  for the Care Home Nursing Journal.
