Life, death and loss: an interview with Maurice Sendak

Maurice Sendak, author and illustrator of the children’s book: Where the Wild Things Are, was interviewed before his death last year by Terry Gross of NPR radio. in the US.

The renowned illustrator spoke of life, death, old age and uncertainty in a moving and insightful interview. 

Christoph Niemann, another famous illustrator, created an animation based on the final section of the interview, which can be viewed through the YouTube link above.
