Thank you Skye Radio - "67 minutes of staff de-briefing"

Author: Neil McDonald | CEO of Khanya Hospice
21 July 2017

One thing that Hospice Nursing staff needs from time to time – de-briefing, says Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald.

Due to the very stressful nature of their work, we find that nursing staff often suffer from burnout, and we have to look after our staff, we do care for them, says Neil.

Neil was very happy when psychologist Keresha Govender and Zaid Bhoola – Directors of Skye Radio, offered to come and de-brief the staff.  All of this as part of “67 minutes giving back to the community”.

What a great morning for the staff.  They were taught some relaxation techniques which they can do in the comfort of their own office or homes.  Thank you to Skye Radio, a local radio station broadcasting from Durban to 38 countries worldwide.
