Wolfson international bursaries open for application
04 October 2012
The Wolfson international bursaries are now open for application.
The Wolfson international bursary grant programme aims to increase and improve the provision of palliative care in resource-poor Commonwealth countries by enabling clinical staff working in eligible countries to attend training courses.
Candidates must be a clinical staff member (nurse, doctor or clinical officer) living and working in one of the commonwealth countries named in the eligible country list. The candidate should be able to demonstrate that their organization will directly benefit from their participation in a palliative care training course.
Candidates may apply for up to £1,500 in any twelve months. There are no deadlines but applications must be received before the start of the course, or the beginning of the next academic year if the course lasts longer than twelve months.
Once the funds have been allocated, applications will close.
More information on the application process can be found on Help the Hospices website.
