The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) has launched an updated website to support patients and families looking for clear, concise information on palliative care.

Get Palliative Care is user-friendly, written in plain english and makes use of clear signposts allowing visitors to find out more about palliative care. The site includes helpful videos, as well as giving useful links to resources and organisations to contact for more information on a range of areas including cancer information, advance directives and care-giver help. The Palliative Care Provider Directory of Hospitals enables users to locate hospital in their area that provides palliative care.

Commenting on the debut of Get Palliative Care, CAPC director Diane E Meier said "CAPC is excited that the new design gives patients and families an easy-to-navigate, modern site to go with the smart, relevant content."
