The IV Central American and Caribbean Congress of Pain and Palliative Care will take place from 2 to 6 October 2012.

The congress will take place in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Delegates and speakers are attending the Congress from the countries across the region including Argentina,  Bolivia,  Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba , El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras,  Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico  and the Dominican Republic. International delegates from the USA, Spain and Canada will also be attending.

Topics covered include pain and symptom management, opoids and drug availability , as well as palliative care training and education.
