01 October 2012
Next week palliative care providers and researchers, representing a range of disciplines from 60 countries, will be meeting to share experiences and exchange ideas at the 19th International Congress on Palliative Care in Montréal, Canada.
The four-day congress includes a wide range of plenaries, seminars, research forums and workshops, as well as an art display, film screenings, book signings and a number of other social events and opportunities for networking. During the congress, the International Palliative Care Family Carer Research Collaboration and the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association will also be holding open meetings.
Palliative Care McGill, McGill University, has been organising this biennial international congress since 1976, to help promote both local and international development.
The full programme and further information can be found on the congress website. Check out the Canadian edition of ehospice later this week and next week to hear more about the congress.
